Announcement

Any idea if the .223 will function properly in bolt guns? I'm feeding a savage axis and it hates mil spec ammo such as norinco stuff (ftf galore).

From the website...

Product Description

The cartridge .223 REM (5.56×45) is used for sporting and hunting shooting through bolt-action and semi-automatic rifles and carbines. The cartridge keeps its qualities under various climatic and weather conditions independent of the season and at a temperature from – 20 to + 50 C.

The cartridge complies with CIP requirements. The cartridge is settled upon chambering until the case shoulder rests against the chamber сone.

The firearm models H&K SL-8, OA-15, REMINGTON, CZ527, and RUGER MINI 14 are deployed to run the acceptance tests of cartridges.

The phosphate polymer coating cartridge case is bottled-shaped with non-projecting flange and made of steel.
The bullet of .223 REM (5.56×45) consists of two elements, i.e.:

copper or bimetal jacket
lead core
Spheroid powder.

Do you have or will you be getting Tula primers? I have read pretty good reviews on them and they are a lot cheaper than US primers (usually $10-15 per 1000 cheaper stateside).

I tried to place an order on the website, but after i have all my information typed in and i click to proceed with checkout i get an error saying "select file" but all the required fields are already filled in.
Am i missing something or is this a website bug?

Sorry, I was on the road the past week and have not had the chance to test it. After testing it today i can tell you with 100% certainty that projectiles are magnetic.

I just received my shipment of 1000rd non-corrosive 7.62x39 for $440 tax & shipping included. It may look bit expensive at first glance but trust me, if you want non-corrosive with $10 flat shipping! They are the cheapest right now & it's not surplus! My order was placed on Sunday evening & I got my ammo delivered on Thursday afternoon. I live in northwest territory & usually xpress post takes about 3days to deliver their mail from Toronto. Mine was ground shipping & delivered witching 4days. I'm very happy & satisfied with their service & pricing.

Bimetal jacket is a deal breaker

If you are shooting a bimetal through a NON CL barrel expect some minor wear over time.
Not to mention all this ammo is NOT range safe for anyone who is shooting INDOORS or at facility backstops
