So after my little incident of sudden death and time spent in ICU and the cardiac ward..it was time to build.( Laying in a hospital for 3 weeks ,2 hours from home gives you lots of time to think!) I had this stock kicking around for years, always had a dream of what to do with it and laying in bed let my mind wander. So it was a spanky new stainless rifle ordered up. Sold the barrel to a fellow member in here, synthetic stock left on the shelf and it started. Had to do some searching ,but,Dlask had one 18 inch .920 barrel left. So that was ordered right quick, weaver stainless rings, elite 2.5 x10x40 scope that I got from a friend.Looked high and low for a stainless trigger in here. Couldn't find one so I was going to order up a stainless housing and build it from there. But low and behold a factory stainless one came up for sale. So that solved that problem. (Thank you Doug..u know who you are). When I get the trigger assm I will mod it some what and get it all fancy and installed. I think I will also order a dlask brake for it. Not that a .22 needs it,but just for looks and to get the barrel a little longer.Maybe swap the bolt handle out to something fancier.

For now its a start...more mods will come as spring draws near...but here is more of a rifle for us non tactical purists!!:p

Good work hope your in full recovery and good health

Hah...I was back to work less then 2 months after I decided to step out for awhile! Drs. cant figure out how I came back so fast and with no damage. This is a fun little project to keep me going after work. Past 2 months has been 12 hour days again....I am already planning another build. It will be more of a race gun then anything. Dang that laying in bed imagining rifles is costly on the pocket book!!
