No wonder they're so expensive . The market 's been cornered! Never saw so many in one place. Nice brace of Johnsons !!! -------- Details??

Actually, getting stuff out of a communist country is 10x easier that getting it out of the US...

Coyote -- what I meant was ; if you'd care to share how you were fortunate enough to own 20 grand worth of 1941 Johnson rifles.--( guess i shoulda said it first time). :dancingbanana:
Thanks for the pix !

I saw a TV show where they asked a tank collector why he collected Battle tanks. His reply was "I could collect beer cans, but then who would care."

Substitute "Johnson" (or any other quality milsurp) for Battle tank, and "Mosin Nagant" for "Beer can".

...nail on the head.

I saw a rack of five at Tulsa this past weekend. He wanted an average of $7K for them. Marstar sold one for $700 last year.

If you guys thought that was high, several Johnsons have sold for over $10K in the States. And if you have an Experimental Johnson with the Vertical Magazine, that one sold for over $23K not including the auction fees.

Kind of "blows the budget" if you were shopping for a $169 SKS!
