Hi CGN community. It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my older brother, Dave, after a brief but courageous battle with brain cancer. Dave loved hunting and the outdoors, and spent much of his (very-limited) spare time in God's creation. He will be greatly missed by his siblings, his kids, numerous nieces and nephews, but most of all by his bride of less than 2 years, Deb. He was a great brother, as well as hunting partner. Deer season just won't be the same without him!

Sorry to hear that my condolences to you and your family. My family has battled that b!tch cancer, lost my uncle couple years ago, mom survived breast cancer same with my aunt and grandma and I know how terrible it can be.
 
Was talking with his boys today, and told them we're going after a monster buck this fall with Dave's .270 Parker Hale. "Oh yeah" all around ! My brother left big shoes to fill, but Uncle Fred will do the best he can!

That's the ticket ... celebrate his life !

Sunday night at camp we always toast a couple of the departed and regale in a few stories !
