Another bcl102 magazine question..

Searched the forum didn’t find an answer.. (if I missed it point me in the right direction)

Okay so, BCL102 mag question.. my bcl functions 100% with the mag that came with it, no FTF no FTE not a hiccup so far. I bought two ASC 5/20 mags, they won’t even lock in. I bought ASC pistol mags they lock in but need a slap and my second shot with those I had my first ever FTF and I haven’t tested any further.. I picked up a couple C product defence pistol mags and the are tight as well but I have yet to test further.. I’m thinking making the mag release catch hole a bit bigger on one to see if that gives them some room.. anyone else have this issue? Is the answer maybe to grind the mag release on the rifle a bit?

Interesting, I purchased a BCL-102 when the price dropped in October along with 2 ASC XCR-M magazines from a site sponsor. No amount of bending, tweaking and filing at the rear so they will close on an open bolt would allow them to feed. Bad batch maybe? The supplied magazine with the BCL-102 works great. I tossed the magazines in the "I'll try them again when the weather warms up" box.

A credit on my card appeared in January for the 2 mags purchased, without me asking.
 
Hmm mine came from a business member of the site as well.. I started filing one of the 5/20s at the back but haven’t had time to shoot to see if I’m winning. I bought another stock mag from another member so at least I’ll have two working mags until I figure out how to make the others work.. I love the rifle, just wish it wasn’t so hard to get mags to feed reliable!
 
I've only got 20 round pmags for mine never had an issue. It's wierd though my budy has a 10 round pmag and you really have to slam it in there.
 
The pmag is for his xcr I use it in the lead sled as the 20's are to long but yes it runs fine in my rifle just got to give it a good tap when you put it in. it's weird because my other 3 pmags fit in my rifle perfecty.
 
The ASC 5/20s didn't work in the gen 1 rifles, not sure if that is relevant.

Might have to try the pistol mags in mine as I would like to have 10rds in case a grizzly decides me or my family would make a good meal when out in the boonies. I never had any problems with polymer mags. Would be nice if we could get polymer pistol mags.

Mine is a gen 2 might have to play around with one of the mags and see if I can find the issue.. if not the others will be on the EE
