I love it when the door bell rings! In today's box was the Griffin Armament M4SD-II Flash Comp that I bought from Armtac. $94.95 plus shipping and taxes. http://www.armtac.com/product/ga-m4-sd2-fc/

I was going to get the M4SD tactical compensator http://www.armtac.com/product/ga-m4-sd2tc/ because of all the good thing that herd about the Battlecomp, but wanted to save on cost. After watching the comparison video of the two Griffing brakes, I decided to buy the Flash comp.

How do you like your Griffin brakes? Have any of you had the chance to try out both the Battlecomp and the Griffin next to each other to see if the Battlecomp is worth the extra $65.04?
(I'm still waiting for my barrel so I won't be able to test it for a while.)

I spoke to Griffin at Shot and they told me that the flashcomp works a little better on 14.5" and 16" than the comp. I have both of them, in addition to the Battlecomp and TTO. Hopefully getting an FSC556 soon too. I want to compare them all for performance and how pleasant they are to shoot in modified (rollover) prone.
 
Thinking of putting their 308 model on my M14. Kinda look like the Socom brake with a flash hider on the end.

I got mine a couple weeks ago.

i did not know it is actually a coated stainless comp./flashhider. Cool! :)

Like stated above, Regarded as superior to the battlecomp....and $65 cheaper.
