Another Cooper For My Collection

Nice but 9+ lbs for an unscoped short action is getting into benchrest only territory in my books.
To each their own I guess.

I bought it as a coyote/wolf/pronghorn/ informal target rifle., so it's not as if it will be carried in the mountains, or in the woods.

I'm starting to get the itch for mine to arrive, however Febuary is still a long Time....

It would be great if I had my stw in time for my Suffield elk hunt, but I am not all that hopeful, that I will have it in time.

Im not sure why many think this looks so nice? With a price of $2000 and a mismatched stainless barrel/ action combo and a Bell & Carlson stock...no thanks.
Want nice look at their blued models with fancy walnut.
Performance wise I bet its an absolute tack driver though.

Performance is what attracts me to Cooper. I could care less for fancy wood, engraving, or other decorative work. I want a solid, dependable, and very accurate rifle, and so far Cooper has delivered. And if there is an issue, both Cooper and Clay at Prophet River will do what it takes to make things right.
