Called in a double yesterday morning but only connected on this female at about 50yds.....the other coyote kicked in the afterburners and probably didn't slack off til it was in the next county.

Notice all the white on this female.....never shot a coyote with so much white.....even it's front legs and fully half it's tail is pure white.

Interesting colours. I'd venture to guess that there is some domestic dog not too far back in the genetic history.

Thank you all for the replies.

Although the physical build of this dog is all coyote.....one thing puzzles me and kind of surprised me as I inspected the coyote in the field. The lower abdomen between the hind legs was not furred in like other coyotes.....it was bare skin....just like a domestic dog. As a few have mentioned....I'm pretty sure that domestic dog was somewhere in this coyote's bloodline. Another similar colored coyote has been spotted a few km's away as well.....but with more white on it's hips....could be from the same litter.

an interesting colour pattern for sure . there is a couple of pure white coyotes in our area and i saw one last winter when the hounds flushed it .it was late in the day and the dogs were being gathered up so it lives on .one pure white coyote passed directly under a deer hunters tree stand last fall and he did not shoot it as there were several deer close by . he wished he had as the deer never did get close enough to shoot as it is shotgun only hunting in our area .

Good job taping up your spitfire... I hate how mine sticks out in the snow.... Nice yote

Thanks Superbrad, I use bandage/first aid tape on my rifle barrel, receiver, scope and caller. I've found that type of tape is usually pure white in color, stays sticky and pliable regardless of temperature and leaves no residue after it's removed.
