Another CZ 858 Canadian!

Hey guys, just got my Canadian today...really happy I bought it. The wooden furniture is very nice indeed. Had almost forgotten how nice and light this rifle feels in stock form! But she didn't remain stock for that long, nothing major though

So what is it about these that makes them "CZ Canadians"?

Are they made in Canada or do they just have a canadian flag on the furniture with some slight manufacturing and furniture differences?

Forgive my ignorance, I have yet to get a CZ for myself and don't know all that much about them.

Is the scope mount an addon. I assume so. Looks like it replaces the upper hand guard/gas system.

The CZ 858 7.69 x 39 mm is a semiautomatic rifle designed for sport shooting. This new model is available for the first time in Canada with real wood furniture engraved with maple leaf.

The rifles comes with four 5/30 round magazines, bayonet, scabbard, cleaning kit, sling and manual.

SWEET did it come with the rail for the burris or is that an after market part?

The mount is an NEA co-witness upper handguard. They go for about $65 and will actiall co-witness with irons if used with an Aimpoint t1/Vortex sparc type red dot. I've used these handguards on other CZ's and I like them alot. The FastFire is on an American Defense AD-22 quick-release mount.

Great set up! Nice CZ. That Burris Fastfire is next on my list as they seem fantastic.

They are pretty fantastic...weigh next to nothing and have a pretty long battery life. Also, the auto-dimming/brightness feature works pretty well...the sight reacts instantly to changes in ambient light.
