i'm the other way- if it works and relaibly, i have no compunctions about using the other guy's weapons or kit-but i grew up poor and still am somewhat frugal to this day- READ DEAD CHEAP
on the other hand, i have no 7.62x39 rifles because i see no need

If it is cheap, this AR is to arm the buddy backing you up when the SHTF.

If my friends are too damn cheap to buy their own damn guns to save their cheapassed damn cheap asses from the damn zombies, they're going to be shooting my SKSes when the zombies rise and be damn grateful for them .

I don't know what sort of license fees Sudan payed the PLA for the specs, but with Sudan's labour costs, I'll bet it would be cheaper again.
