I bought this rifle from a hunting partner, in 1990 or so. It’s served me well putting bear, deer, moose and even the odd bird on the table. As time marched on it got relegated to the back of the safe until a couple years ago. I pulled it out, wiped it down and blew the dust out of it. I’d had just acquired a couple 303’s and researched them some, then sold them off. I’m now left I bit curious as to what the “other one” is.

I’ll add pics as I’m able.

Enfield No1 mk3*
Monte Carlo stock. Mag is cut and has UMC stamped in the loading floor ( at least that’s what I’m calling it for now). I’ll add a pic, don’t worry

Receiver and barrel are marked NZ, which I’m guessing is NEW ZEALAND issue during WW1.
The wrist band shows 19.. with the final two numbers being worn off
Receiver, barrel and bolt numbers match. Seem to be an excess of stampings on the bolt, not sure why

Thoughts and observations are welcome

It's a sporterized Enfield. The marking on the follower is UCF, so I'm not sure why you're insisting that it's UMC. You've not asked any answerable questions, so I'm not sure what information you're looking for.

It looks to be a commercially sported rifle as done up by Parker Hale and some other British firms.

A completely unremarkable No1 Mk3, 191* vintage. If you look carefully you can see that the NZ has been stamped over the original British markings and then the commercial proofs stamped over that. I don't know if that means anything to you.

Poorly stamped date but must be a pre 1918 as that is the date on the barrel, but since the barrel may be a replacement that's about as close as your going to get dating it.

also the Magazine is cut down.
