Another First AR Smith & Wesson M&P 15 Sport II Thread

I paid for mine last Wednesday, transfer completed and shipping info received Thursday. Tracker says "out for delivery" today.
Frontier Firearms is faster than your average retailer.

It's not the retailer that's the problem. It's in stock at Lanz where I paid in person for it and plan to pick it up. It's the Ontario CFO.

I shot mine I just didn't take pictures. Shot it and love it. Super accurate. Just an awesome platform to shoot. SKS, Vz, and Non-restricted PAL holders are missing out. I sold all my non-restricted semi autos to buy it and I don't regret it. My wife loves how the gun has little to nothing for recoil and the stock is adjustable to a comfortable length for both of us. The gun is also super light and easy for her to aim.

I'm pretty new to the platform as well and wish I had bought one years ago. I can honestly say that if we were able to hunt with an AR I don't think I would have many bolt actions sticking around.

Took mine to the range last week, shot 60 rounds. Not sure it doesn't have any recoil, my shoulder was getting tenderized, LOL.

Plenty accurate since my eyes are crap and an astigmatism just complicates the iron siting issues along with left eye right hand dominant. At 100 yards I can't even see the bullseye and the front sight is fuzzy, managed @2-3 moa though. I have heard it may be better to switch to left hand with left eye or I am destined for an optic, and the journey begins.

My M&P Sport 2 showed up last week after a three and a half week wait , thanks Ont. - CFO !. Tenda has ultra fast shipping and great customer service. Bought the M&P Sport 2 for a back up for 3 gun competion , and for the times I want to run Optics instead of Open div. Also to have a lighter AR for IPSC carbine matches. With my peepers getting tired as well I started searching for an optic . I stumbled on a Vortex Sparc AR on Amazon.ca just yesterday. Great deal, $ 205 plus $17 for shipping so $ 222 delivered to my door. The Vortex warranty is fantastic . I have supported many of the CGN sponsors in the past and will continue to , just couldn`t pass on such a good deal .

We get charged 5% GST and 7% PST for web orders being shipped to a BC address. We don't skip out on Provincial sales tax simply because we ordered it from another province.

Bulls Eye London only charges the GST in B.C. I am looking at my bill now. Only last year, $51 tax on a $1028 order.

Depends on the province that you order from and whether the business has brick and mortar stores in more than one province. Order from a b.c. Business to a b.c. address and pay 12%. A large retailer like Cabella's will charge both taxes. Small, out of province retailers don't charge the provincial sales tax when you live in another province, so you only pay the gst. Provinces with HST pay the full amount no matter where you live or order from.

Don't ask me why

This is why save the tax and pay full retail on the ee isn't much of a savings when you can often pay only 5% anyways
