Nopers. I had one of the 1st ones into the countryRed Star said:Did you purchase it (G22) recently?
Nope, and I never got a letter, nor have I ever seen a letter (scanned, in person, etc). I was told by my class action lawyer to IGNORE the letter if I did get one (it was said to give you 30 days notice to turn in the lower rear portion of your stock for destruction, as it was a prohibited item). When I brought it to the 1st EESA open house I wanted to make sure that everything was fine because the SHTF just a week before with the whole G22 bullpup prohib thing. They (RCMP firearms technicians) said: "Because a court challenge/class action was filed in contradiction to our interpretation and a cease and desist is in order, you are free to use it as any regular non-restricted rifle untill the court decides who is right."did you get hastled by the RCMP for using it after the stupid letter?
Yes, as does everyone elses. It's only the lower rear plastic portion of the stock that is prohib as they see it now (but it's really not, but I won't get into that now, it doesn't make the rifle shorter, blah blah). I don't think the status of the rifle will ever change, just might have to turn in the part of the stock in question.Does your registration papers say non-restricted on it?
