Hello guys. I have been hunting for a long time and then 'dropped' it as a hobby. This was due to the job, new wife, house, no time, no partner, etc.
But now my son is interested in hunting/shooting and I have found an excellent hunting partner. I only have a couple of long guns and my POL.
I am taking my NonR course this coming weekend so I can buy the son, wife and myself some more long guns. A restricted course will follow soon I think.
I hope to get some time and go over all the great info and discussion that I imagine is here.
Thanks for being part of a great resource. I appreciate it.

If you're planning on getting your RPAL anyway, do them both at the same time. It will save you from having to submit two separate applications, and you'll only have to pay the licensing fee once.

I also recommend having your wife apply for her RPAL at the same time.

I think alot of families are starting to shoot and hunt together. When I took my CORE course about 90% of the attendees were women and children.

Nice to see another islander in the forum.
