They've got a bunch of shops around, including one in Poco right by DVC Ventures. A little pricy, but that 1lb tub is enough for a few projects. Seems to be the consensus best choice for bedding according to a few sites and knowledgable people as well.
 
I have bedded lots of actions with various things, a few kinds of plastic steel, jb weld and never had a problem, I do not take the action out of the bedding until I have fired a few shots, of course I use a release, have used light grease and a few other things. I just take the floor plate out after bedding to re-install the mag and the cartridge follower, I leave the action in the stock until I see how it works.. I have never had a problem getting them out after a few shots.
 
I have never found epoxy to be able to stick to plastics. Always counted on a good mechanical joint when using epoxy against plastic. A mini dovetail or slot cutter on a dremel works well.
 
Marine Tex or devcon is the way to go, Marine tex is only about $15-$18 for the 2oz kit and its well worth it . Do a search on google for Marine tex and you will see it is used alot by high end rifle makers. For a release agent I went to the "marine store" and got there mold release (poly vynel etheline I beleive) for about $4 , you put a thin coat on with a Q-tip and when dry creates a micro thin plastic film on the action .

I bet bees wax would work (the soft stuff for waterproofing boots), but i am not going to experiment, I'll go with what is proven.
