Another m&p9 question

Hey everyone. I'm looking at getting a m&p9 and was wondering if anyone knew if you could use the .40 or .45 cal mags in the 9 and if they worked well. It's easier to find the larger cal mags than the 9mm. Thanks in advance

I'm not sure about the .45 mags but I switch frequently between 9mm and .40 with out issue.

AFAIK .40 works OK with 9mm, .45 no go. Same as Glock.

Sweet. I didn't think .45 would work, be to loose, but I was hoping .40 would. That's good to hear.

Pretty sure the .40 mags hold 13 rounds of 9mm too. Al Flahertys had M&P mags on sale for $35 not long ago and there were 9mm there.

In my gun, the .40 mags would not hold 9mm rounds. When I got my 9mm conversion barrel, I had to get 9mm mags. Flaherty had them IIRC...

Same here...unreliable on the last couple rounds...most times would jam up. Pinched the feed lips but only helped a bit. For me, wasn't worth the hassle for a couple extra rounds...

9mm did not wok in my 40 mags.

I get a ton of stove pipes when I try to run 9mm through a .40 mag. Sometimes it works, but it's not reliable.

Tried this with a Beretta. Would work in an emergency but not reliable
