So my lisence came on thursday (had non-res for 6 years already) and here I sit on Saturday morning with a M&P40 in my hand. What a great feeling. I went with a .40 because i shot lots of 9mm in the army and i wanted something with a little more "juice" Hopefully I'll make it to the range today! Anybody else shoot at xtreme in Winnipeg?

They're more like crack. You'll try it once when a friend offers, then you'll tell yourself that if you just had another fix, you could forget about it forever, then the next thing you know, you're hiding another "score" from your wife and she tells you that you have a problem. It's a sad downward spiral that I wouldn't give up for anything.

Welcome to the club.

Never shot at that place. Can you bring your own pistol there?

If you're a member I believe you can. But if you're just trying the range the dude is pretty strict about renting his guns and buying his ammo. If you have a buddy who shoots there he can get you in for 15$.

It's a very nice indoor range for pistols, but terrible for rifle shooting, and heaven forbid you hit a baffle. It is 300$ a hole.

Nice! I've got one myself and really like it a lot. When I first saw the top picture in your post I though there was a big jesus magwell on your pistol!

Well I put 200 rounds down the pipe and boy is that fun. Not really much more kick than a 9mm but I guess it's been a while so maybe I forget. I defiantly need to practice more with the pistol haha I'm pretty good with a rifle but this was not the case with my handgun. What kind of groups should I be getting at 15yards and 25 yards?

Very nice, I really like the M&P in .40 S&W. Even have the .40c. Was that the range kit that you got?
