Is there anyone chambering rifles for 38-55's these days?
I briefly thougth about having a 30-30 rebored to chamber the 38-55, because I saw itin a gun mag once.![]()
Best go with the .375 Win. so as to use .375" boolits which are more easily attained compared to the .379" boolits required by the standard .38-55 chambering. Make sure the action can handle the 50,000 psi. range of the .375 Winchester though.
