Here is one you don't see to often. I found this the other day and thought I would share it with you guys. It is an 1878 Sharps-Borchardt Military Rifle. This rifle is in excellent condition with what looks like an original leather sling, caliber .45-70 and a bore that looks like it just came from the factory. There were about 6900 military rifles produced and purchased by Militias of the states of Michigan, North Carolina, and Massachusetts. Very few of these are found in complete original condition as the actions were prized by target shooters for the past 100 years. These guns were produced from 1878 to 1881.
