Hi all,
One of my PAL signatories let me know about this community and I'm very glad he did! Got into archery a few years ago thanks to JRE and have been practising a lot with the bow. Did my CFSC course 2 years ago but never pulled the trigger (see what I did there?) on the PAL application. Recently was invited out for bowhunting whitetail and managed to fill my tag on my first trip out! Needless to say I'm now hooked and want to expand the hunting possibilities with rifle and shotgun options.

Thanks for the welcome! What a great resource already, spent some time noodling around in the optics forum and have decided against the Burris eliminator despite being drawn in by all the whiz bang features and ads. Great to have the feedback re: warranty and actual features needed while out on a hunt vs. cool gadgetry
