Another Newbie

First sign on. Live in SE Alberta. Starting to shoot in earnest after years of wishing. Favorite cartridges are 35 Whelen (started loading before Remington introduced), and 7-08 Rem. Also experimenting with 6.5 Mannlicher. Hope to talk again soon.

I am quite pleased with the 35 m whelan-it will shoot 1" groups at 100 yards if I do my part. Have 2X 7-08'- 1 rem 788 with new stock (1-1/2" groups normal with 130 gr asnd 1-700 Varminter (still in progress). My 6.5 x 54 is a Steyr Mannlicher 1901 with a long barrel.-it shoots what it likes (160 gr RN) about 1 7/8 in (sometimes)
