another newby from Alberta

Hi there, just another newbie here from Alberta!
My husband has been hunting for years and has a little collection of guns. Now I seem to be finding "his" interest, interesting me....
So here I am, trying to learn more. So please excuse me if I don't completely understand everything about guns, I am here to learn

I too am new and getting into the sport so that I can have a common interest with my boyfriend who is also a member of this site. I don't know much about guns but with his guidance and reading the threads on here, I'm slowly picking up the lingo. Never touched a gun until a couple months ago now. I'm still scared of the loud sounds, but find it fascinating at the power that comes out of a small metal object. LOL

Welcome aboard Strawberry. Hope to see you (and family) as a member at the Sherwood Park Fish and Game Association for the 2009 year. Never be afraid of asking a question. 99 % of the time members will give you the best answers availiable to them. Also you may want to sign up (or at least look into) a womans outdoor program held in Alberta by AHEIA (dot com). My sister-in-law took the couse this summer and had a great time. She is almost 50yrs old and new to shooting/hunting. Cost was minimal for a whole week of activities.
