another nice sks from wholesale

No ###x's any where all matching numbers

Should also have the cartouches in the stock around the front cross bolt, as well be missing the refurb stamp on the receiver cover. The refurb stamp will be either a square with a diagonal line, or a diamond with a line left to right in the middle.

I have a 53 in a laminate stock with all matching numbers and no ###xx, but it is a refurb. Has the refurb mark. No ###x and all matching numbers is not, on its own, confirmation of a non-refurb.

Agreed, regardless though its still a nice looking specimen.

I heard the golden bayonets turn everything they touch to skittles. OP could you stab someone you don't care about and see if its true? Its kinda the deciding factor for me...

Sadly, the "golden" bayo on my '51 is starting to lose the colouring...whatever caused it in the first place (cosmoline? Electroplating for a "parade" rifle? etc, no-one agrees), is wearing off.

Perhaps while cleaning and oiling after using corrosive, I should have been more careful in avoiding wiping the bayonet, I dunno.

Still love my '51, but I just picked up a '55 with a spring-loaded safety, curved gas block and chrome barrel to be my regular shooter.

That was kind of a #### move but I appreciate your...wait, that's why I haven't seen him lately! f**k... I guess after deteriorating to a family guy stand-in his career was pretty much over anyways.

It's true, I stabbed the Kool-Aid man and he turned into a jug full of skittles. Taste the rainbow.
