Well, I'd like to thank you folks for the greeting. Having been bodyslammed from post one and having been accused of being here for some nefarious purpose, my presence will probably be short-lived.

rafmedic, In your first post, immediately after joining CGN, you called out Ericka for comments she made to The Joe-Man ("And your motivation is a troll, as I know who you are exactly, but I still answer your questions. When you have your private discussions with Sheldon and Blaire, are they so forthcoming? I'm not asking for people to pick sides by the way. Show me where I've asked that.")

She apologized ("Apologies for any innuendo. It's been a long week and I've been asked the same question 80000 times, which I'm normally happy to answer, it just gets kind of annoying when the same person asks it over and over when it has clearly been answered."), I wish she wouldn't have. I think she was exhausted, at the time, as I had been following her on another page and she was uber busy.

You clearly came to troll. You deserved the body slams.

Well, actually I was. Maybe my timing was off ? No matter. I'm 51 years old and quite frankly, while your opinion is duly noted, it matters to me about as much as the pimple I currently find on my arse. I'll scratch it, pop it and let it run. Its very clear, that its not me with an agenda, but you and others of your ilk. That's a political agenda and has nothing to do with me.

As for Ms. Clarke, for the last time, she apologized because she knew she was exhausted and her comment had crossed the line. She was wrong in her comment. She knew that and acknowledged that. That took "balls" on her part. I wouldn't know her, or any other NFA individual without an intro. At the time, my comment was ABSOLUTELY necessary, under the circumstances. And Ms. Clarke, I believe, recognized that. BZ to her.

If you have a problem, contact a mod, as I'm sure they'll find my ISP is unique as opposed to what you are clearly insinuating, that I'm dual posting, have multi memberships etc. Or I'll give you the number of the local RCMP Det and they can vouch for my creds. No ? Didn't think so. Tough being a Facebook Warrior? Some of us have been there, done that, got the plaque and bought the cheap-arse T. Not you though, right ?

Fact is, CGN has proved to be a fantastic resource, which is WHY I joined. The whole NFA ridiculousness was/is coincidence. Quite frankly, I was stunned by the amount of Alcan a$$hattery. I'm simply a guy who wants info on certain rifles, end of. A guy who was probably shooting before you existed, judging by your vernacular.

And Bigfoot, as we're only a hop skip and jump away, maybe we'll get the chance to shoot together. If not, I'll understand, because more than likely you'll be getting fitted for your big boy pants.

I simply stated the you came to troll, as seemed to be the indication, per your very first post, which was also mentioned by other members.

OK, so I was wrong to bring that discussion over to this thread.....I do apologize for that.

I'm sure you're a nice guy. I never questioned your credibility, but rather, your first post. I haven't insinuated anything, including multiple memberships. You can speculate as to what kind of a person I am, but if everyone who accused someone of being a troll (and by the way, CGN has a troll emoticon in their library, so it must be acceptable) is a douchebag, then CGN has a lot of douchebags. Trust me. There's a learning curve on CGN. Some will give you a heck of a lot more grief, for your opinion, than I did. I hate the wording, but some on here say about growing a thick skin. Maybe they are right.

I didn't mean to step on your toes. I have been following the NFA for some time now and am friends with Ericka.

Like I said, above, only you can prevent forest fires......................clearly you missed the smiley face.........................:)

That's gross. If you simply must pop it then
1. sanitize your hands so you don't burden our health care system with a self-inflicted infection; and
2. record it and put it on youtube, there is quite the cult following for gross pimple popping on youtube.

Also you can recover some street cred if you hit the wilderness and survival forums. Old fellows usually have good survival tips.
