I'm , so excited... Just got back last night from the field after I got my first game ever. the days I spent at the range and scouting in the field finally paid off.
Lucky enough I didn't have a buck fever when I pulled the trigger and she died after 1 shot only. Now I'm hooked

I used 165 gr / 308 Federal Trophy Copper from about 150 yards. Hit her in the boiler room and she expired after about 10 yards. Shot was a bit difficult because I didn't have my sticks but it worked well in the end.
Filed dressing was easy0 thanks to a buddy of mine who helped a lot.
this was in zone 19 SK

it's a mule deer, about 80lbs
I'm thinking to send the head for CWD testing
