The 303 came for a still hunt into the trail camera. Same place similar time as the last big hind, I had 3 sambar come down the line.
I picked the youngest and fired.
A 180 gr PPU factory 303 British round did the deed at a 35m give or take.
It was fading light as can tell by the photo, any later an I'm not sure the Apoxy Clay V would of let enough Light in with that big Bead covering the critter quite well.... But that's the way it goes sometimes.
Looking forward to carting the scoped rifles around a bit more in summer as the deer arnt moving til quite late in these almost 40d C days.
