Dang! This is my 2nd Kimber this year that is barely 1/2moa at 100 yards the first time out to the range. The first was a Classic Select Grade in 270 WSM and this piece of garbage is an 84L Montana in 270 Win.

Both took less than 10 shots to find a load they liked. These pencil barrelled, 5.5lb rifles are pure garbage:)

In all seriousness, the fit, finish and accuracy of both Kimbers I have had this year have been every bit the equal of the Cooper or numerous Sakos I have owned. One honestly could not ask for more.

I had the opportunity to try one at the range. It functioned flawlessly but it just didn't fit me right. I'm glad I didn't buy one. I'm glad to hear you like yours. It sure looks great.

Too boring...how do you manage to drag yourself to the range with a gun that shoots like that. My thoughts go out to you. If you are looking for more of a challenge, I have a number of rifles that would serve well and I would be happy to take you out of your misery and negotiate a trade. I have many, so I don't mind sacrificing one to you.

My deepest sincere condolences. Maybe purchase a Savage next time, I hear that they shoot accurate all the time. BTW, great grouping!

I started out thinking "that's a good group, go to hell" but then saw you were joking. Somehow my opinion hasn't changed! Guess I'm just jealous of your beautiful rifle.

Great shooting. I'm getting some groups like that from my series 2 but consistency is still not there (that's on me).

So, worth the money I take it?

Awwwwwww skimmer, ya toss nuff lead at a target and sumtimes the cloverleaf is there.
Like the big fishie that got away.
Not too many post up target grewps that you can stick yer arse through.

LOL fantastic. You're right of course. This summer I'll be able to be at the range several times a week. I expect to be posting some pictures like his soon.

Those Kimbers seem like excellent value in a premium rifle. Wish they made one in 35 Whelen; although it might be too much kick for a light rifle. While a 270 will do nothing my 280AI wont do, I've always had a fascination for a 270. Think a Kimber in 270 might have to be a combo I got to get.

Yup... absolute garbage... I'll give you $50 to take it off your hands so you'll be able to get SOMETHING for it instead of just tossing it out. You cover shipping though.

Great group!
