Has anyone heard much about the rimfire version? I can't find anything on CGN about it. The 9mm version is a must have of the price is right.

Sales IMO. Think of all the people who do not reload thier own ammo & the only handguns they own are a 22 and a 9mm. This is marketing perfection. Think of all the novice shooters you could introduce to the shooting world with this light recoiling rifle, along with a meaningful step up from Ruger 10-22?
Besides cheap(er) 9mm today is what 38 Special was to the handgunning world decades back.
Myself, I'm going to keep my eye out for reviews on this one.

I was searching under Citadel M1 and not Chiappa. Seems like the M1 22 has fairly spotty reviews. Hopefully, the 9mm version will be up to the task quality wise.

I had a few of the Chiappas come in to the store... I wasn't overly impressed with them.

I already saw .22LR versions of this at my local gun store for sale. They had one with a synthetic stock and another with the wooden stock.

that is the answer. I actually got to handle one in this caliber that was a vet brig back outa the nam era. very very poor workmanship ofcoarse . im sure these would be very very popular up hear anyways

7.62x25mm is corrosive? If so, It'd be good if it's blowback operated(not sure if possible) a gas system like the m1 carbine would be a PITA to clean after every firing.
