I forgot to add that I used Federal primers the Match Grade kind 215's and was shooting at 100m testing loads. The load was too hot I had some bolt stick and extractor marks. Other guys are getting 92 grains of H-1000 with the same primers and seating depth I can only get about 90.5 grains before I start seeing over pressure signs. Comments very welcome. This was as close to 1/4 MOA I have come with a 5 shot group.

That rope is made of a very very special hybrid ballistic material impregnated with alloy from a crashed UFO nothing can break it. I had to get Chuck Norris to tie the knot:p Okay I had my fun!:D that was just to hold it up while painting. I welded up a frame and a swinging bracket to hold it. Thanks

That's pretty spanky! Don't imagine that rope holding your gong is going to last long though! That rifle is a gorgeous!

Nice shooting You can shoot 600 Yard or more at Base Borden (you have to be ORA Ontario Rifle Assoc member), I have a little brother of Your gun (Coyote) and I'm amazed how well it shoot still in the process of load development, where do You shoot

I have this friend with lots of land and a nice big house with a spare bedroom:bigHug: We can shoot up to 1000m mabye a lil more if we go kitty corner on the one field. :sniper: I can also bring my restricted stuff as his club is nearby so it is pretty sweet!

Where do you shoot 600m in ON?

I shoot at EESA and Silverdale for LR stuff my friends house he has a reloading area as well so that works out good. I love my TW no way would I ever sell it! As far as the ORA goes it's just too much hassle and money when I can go shoot how I want and at what I want ie. gongs and assorted materials;) loads of fun.:D

Do you have any scope to use US869 powder? you can stuff the case pretty darn full and it does quite well with .338LM. I just took my .338LM out today. I only fired 7 rounds (it was a demo shoot for two friends) but nothing seems to bring a bigger grin to a person's face then to shoot a .338LM; the guys shooting next to me weren't too impressed which is why I only shot 7 rounds but it was still a blast.

Yeah I would like to try some of the US869 it looks to give the best velocity with the 300 grain MK's or Scenars

CCI 250's, H-1000, and 250gr Scenars work very well in mine. I tried the 300gr Scenars and had them working very well under 1300 yards but didn't play much with them further out since the 250's work so well. If I had an improved chamber I'd give the 300's a try but until then I'm quite happy with the performance of the smaller 250's out of the standard 338 Lapua chambering.

I think some range time is do.
