Some guys at my club including me got some reloads from a member who will remain nameless. These rounds kept jamming up on everyone's guns. The reloader in question subsequently bought some new sizing dies. I kept about 170 rounds and decided to try them out on my recently acquired G21. Not one failure of any kind! Gotta love the Glocks! These reloads were jamming 1911s, Rugers, etc.

No kidding. I stated that the reloader had to buy new sizing dies. Just impressed that the G21 still shot them without any issues.
I knew I was going to get the unsupported chamber and plastic gun comments but it doesn't change the fact that this gun is amazing. Sometimes there are glitches even in factory ammo. I like the feeling of reliability that the Glock gives me.

Yup, that's the first time I've seen what would be a defect in any other gun sold as a feature.
Just curious....are .45acp Glocks unsupported chambers too? or just the .40SW's?
I've seen three different chambers so far, I have:
- a Glock 22 .40sw that is definitely unsupported (American Proofed)
- a Glock 31c in 357sig that is fully supported (American Proofed)
- a Glock 22c .40sw barrel that is "partially supported" more supported than my other G22 but less than my 357sig barrel. Kinda hard to explain, but the "scallops" near the feed ramp don't extend as far. (Austrian Proof Marks)
Maybe it's an Austrian Vs. US issue? Or some calibers have fully supported chambers while others don't? What do you guys think?

If you use firearms that have aftermarket barrels you will find issues with ammo because they all have match chambers, it's means it's more accurate, but fussier. My Sig 226 eats mostly anything, generally duty guns have larger chambers to insure reliable feeding.
I just checked my G21sf. No, it's not fully supported. 45 ACP runs at a much lower pressure than 40 S+W or 357 SIG, I've never seen any bulged 45 brass from either my gun or from any previously enjoyed brass I've purchased or found.
I have two Lee Pro 1000s which obviously aren't top of the line but they correct the "Glock buldge".
