Hi All,
My problem is different as I had loaded a 2 3/4" 12 ga. Winchester slug in the chamber, closed the bolt and loading extra shell in the mag tube. I can't push the shell inside, not after I tried wiggling it in and then when I fired the chambered round, the one in the mag tube won't come out to be chambered. It is just sitting there stuck even I tried cycling it again. I cleaned and polished everything but still the same. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is? Thanks for your help.

Return the gun to remington. You should have a gun that functions period. Second point is never buy a remington product again.

Forgot to mention that I bought it used from one of the CGNer. Never mentioned about loading issue. I guess you're right, I should have bought a quality piece. I have to find a shotgun smith around GTA, anyone know someone? Thanks.

Inspect the little parts in the trigger group for wear, and ensure the latches in the receiver (which control magazine action) are clean and move freely.

Thanks guys, for the reading materials. I will have lots of time reading and absorbing the infos tomorrow. If I get the idea how 1100 mag action works, I can fix it myself...I hope. If I do...I will post what problem and what I did. Cheers.

I think I've solved part of the feeding problem. I found there were some few burrs where the mag tube meet with the receiver and the shell base is snagging when you push a shell in. The problem with the shell not coming out to the carrier is the shell latch (long flat bar on the left side of the receiver) being bent too far out that it won't release the shell. So far, a little tuning of those parts (being so old) and replacing new ones will solve my problem. Thanks for those tips guys. Cheers.
