Another scam - warning and possible help?

So this guy has a huge collection, but no means for a lawyer?

This smells fishy. Did he actually transfer all the firearms? Why is he advertising it there?

"All my stuff got stolen: here's a big huge paragraph. By the way, anyone have a rifle?"

Why would he have to "sell everything modern I had left"?

Why is he asking to "do payments"?

Leave it be or tell the Mounties.

What is his name. I have some choice development land in Florida for sale ---slightly damp at times but a great view of the wildlife (alligators, snakes, etc.)

Why would anyone of a normal mental capacity with two brain cells to rub together allow such a collection to go to someone he has never met, to an organization he has never seen, visited, or checked out?

This has B.S. stamped all over it.

From reading the text from the original thread before it was edited, looks like the info was: a guy entered into some kind of deal with the another party to the extent that they had some kind of contract or similar document to do with the first guys gun collection. Alleges other party ripped him off. Doubt the police would do anything about it after the fact, given they probably told him it was all a civil matter between the two parties. His only recourse then would either be to sue [unlikely if he is now without means] or take the other party to something like small claims court [which he could do himself].

But yeah, all does sound kinda fishy.
