Im assuming its a refurb for a supergrade sks as it was marketed as supergrade you think it would at least have the factory proof marks on the cover. Kinda bummed out 300 bucks what i assume is a refurb with no markings seems steep?

????

She is a refurb. Laminate stock is a good tell. If no date is on the reciever cover it could be a 55/56 sks. The sidewall will tell more.

300 is a big rip for a refurb. You paid too much. I sold an all matching non refurb 55/56 for $250 last year.

Im just trying to date this thing or figure out a ball park value or im gonna refinish the stock and shoot it till she dies. Condition of the gun is great but as it stands not worth 300.

Might be not refurb - hard to tell by those pictures. So far no year on the dust covers and laminate stock tell us that it later 1955 or 1956. There's should be some marks on the receiver and stock. Dust cover doesn't have refurb marks it's a good sign but not 100% definitive without other marks and numbers.
