last week finished off project on my last loose martini action
So having a 10 mm 20" Gm 16 twist barrel in hand I decided to try one in 10mm /.40 .A friend let me use his 10 mm reamer to chamber it
Was going to go with 10 mm mag pistol ,but had a 414 Sm case on loading bench and so I run through the die and it resized easy .So made a quick wood stub and drilled it out to see if the 414 SM would chamber ---wont work but 41 mag length does
So for no other reason but I could I formed some 41 mag cases into 40 rimmed to give it a name and run the info through QL and looks good for a cast bullet
Now cut relief for the rim and chambered it just past 1.3" as thats all the reamer will go .(Had to redo the shank threads as I cut them to hand thread in but wanted a tight fit because of wall chamber thickness so thats when it became finished at 18.5 )
So the scope is just bore sighted for now and will fine tune it later ,but it is currently able to smack clay pigeon at 25 yards and is a loud little bugger
