What is a 1973 Weatherby Mark V in 22-250 worth. The condition of this rifle would be excellent and it comes with a Redfield 3X9X40 scope. I was thinking around $1500 or so ??

if it's in 22-250 it must be the "Varmintmaster' action, the short 6 bolt one that the current lightweights are based on. I have no idea on value....but it sounds like a nice one
If the bluing is fresh, and the barrel don't got a zillion rounds through it , and yes the wood , all of these would factor in for me. Great blue, wood of 50% figure, and a barrel with less than 500 rounds, like new ,no damage on the crown .. then it would reach the $1200 mark. A run to the range would have some benefit, but if the gun has not been bedded chances are its gonna shoot once you piller bed it. Nice rifle
