Anschutz .22?

Hey, I picked up a used .22 today for $20 from a customer. It's a short little single shot bolt chambered in 22LR.

Most of the writing on it is in German (except where it reads made in germany) and the manufacturers logo reads Anschutz.

Anybody know the company/ back story on these little guns?

Similar yea. It's in pieces right now getting a face lift. The old boy left it behind his coats in the closet and I think there is about 20 years worth of rain moisture on the stock and barrel. It looks closer to the bottom one in colour, same action/ barrel. However my stock has routered hand grooves infront of the action.
