anschutz 64r biathlon

looking at buying a anschutz 64r biathlon for tactical shooting..
anyone of you has one would like your opinion on this rifle....

.22lr and tactial should not be used in the same sentance. Unless you're pushing 200+yd with your .22, its all really close range. Most heavy barrels offerings below I would consider for 1/2 cost will give similar results up to 100yds.

CZ 452 Varmint or 453 Varmint
Savage Mark II BV or FV
Ruger 10/22 w/ match barrel and stock

On the other hand Annies (64R) are very accurate, reliable, well assembled, and finished rifles, which is why I suppose you find most are used by biathalon shooters. Only downside I can see is the price.

tactical shoot

yes we do shoot to 250 yards but most of the competition are up to 200 only a few go to 250....
already have a cz 452 and like you said it is very accurate but for 3 positions that is shot in tactical its not ideal........ more and more you are starting to see ismash and anschutz biathlon (fortner) in thes competion has there is time limit..... thank for info..
