What is the value of an Anschutz Exemplar with a 14" barrel? This gun is in very good shape. I saw it at a local gun shop and I'm wondering what is a reasonable price to pay for such a gun.

I picked it up today.

I'd love to be able to tell you how it shoots. Unfortunately, my club has not forwarded me my ATT -- assuming that's how it works. I called the fellow who handles these matters three or four weeks ago and he said he'd give me a call when I could pick it up from him (he said he didn't want to mail them). I'm going to give him a call this evening.

Edit: I just spoke to the guy and I can pick it up tomorrow afternoon. (He was supposed to call me when they were in a few weeks ago.)

Your ATT is issued by your provincial CFO. Normally they will require a letter from your club indicating you are a member, that's probably what they will be sending you and then you'll need to get it to your CFO who will then issue you an ATT.

Ok this thread needs a bump by the OP to tell us how it shoots......

Under 1" at 50M 10 shots with Eley Tenex. 1.25"@ 50M with Federal .40gn.

I used to own 3... now down to 2 of these (mine were all 10") Pistols are ALMOST valueless. But Equally PRICELESS to those that play the Pistol Silhouette game.

Match 64 action, 2 stage trigger.

In Good shape these easily fetch 8-1000.00 (with original box, test target and documentation)

The ATT was issued on Feb. 23, 2015 and then, presumably, mailed to the club officer. I picked it up yesterday (he's had it since March).
Now to get to the range to test it out.

Do most guys use the open sights or put a scope on it?

This is a 14" version with a Leupold 4x, the target in the background was shot from the bench at 25 yards, a 10 round group, can't remember what brand of ammo I used at the time, probably Federal Gold Match. I had ordered a 10" version from the dealer, but the 14" arrived by mistake, he was about to return it until I saw the factory test target. Not sure of today's value, but this one was sold about 10 years ago for $500.

Maybe with all of the original paper work they go for a bit more, but most that I have seen in dealers shops over the last few months have all gone for no more that $500-$650, mind you they don't last to long.
