Anschutz rear sight

20180422_131752.jpgwell now im having another problem i want to move my rear sight over a bit and as you can see ive been hitting it pretty hard and it wont move. What now?

It looks like you may have been using steel punch? Try a brass punch as it is less likely to damage the sight itself. If you haven't already I would also recommend you remove the barrel from the stock and place it in a well mounted vice at the sight location before attempting to move the sight again.
 
now i have to leave it for two weeks i hope i can get it without more damage i think i will remove the stock as engineer says. maybe i should try to drift it the other way all the way out and file it a bit if it comes out. you would think anschutz would be more user friendly i had to grind the bottom of the front sight to get it threaded down far enough to get my elevation. i used steel punch with electric tape on it with good results before but if you need a lot of force the steel is going to come through. i will have to find a brass one
