Anschutz scope base options?

In the world of target .22 rifles I'm big fan of Anschutz. BUT: I'm not real happy about the 11 mm scalloped dove tail base mount on the later receivers.

I followed a couple of boards down south about the cure for this, but am interested in what owners up here are doing to remedy the problem. Trying to weigh my options before I ditch the Talley mounts I am currently using.

I know Weaver has 11mm to 3/8 base mounts. but still want to hear from others.

Thanks in Advance for any ideas...

What is the "problem" to which you refer? You don't like the "scalloped" receiver? You don't like to use dovetail mounts?

The scalloped receiver, imo, is a mess for mounting & trying to get a good bearing surface for a true flat attachment.

I take it you want to use something other than dovetail mounts or the factory drilled and tapped mount holes for dedicated Talley Anschutz rings, such as those sold by Nordic Marksman among others. The DIP-made rail from Kinney's to which BeanKozi refers will work well for Weaver-style scope mounts.

From my own experience and from the vast majority of posters in the Anschutz forum of RFC, the "scalloped" receiver works very well with dovetail mounts and with the Talley Anschutz rings.

The Talley mounts I received for my 64 use the existing factory holes but with the scallops, they definitely don't sit on a complete surface. (if terminology makes sense?)...
I am looking to mount the rings & bases on a complete & flat surface for lack of a better description.

I've used BKL and Warne dovetails on my Annie,s 0 issues. When I just mounted my scope that was centered on my cz over to my MPR it was dead on with no adjustments. These dovetails center themselves very well. .I also have the Talley mounts for 30mm and see no issues with them as well.

Unless I received the wrong Talley rings/ mounts, The problem I see is the fact that the base sits mounted on top of the rail with the scallops bellow it. Creating open space bellow & to the sides of the mount on the rail. I don't like this set up. I would like the mount to sit completely against the rail. It just seems like there is not enough mating surface. Albeit, the Talley rings work, just not that convinced it's a good set up. Pretty sure I'm going to use a new rail. choice is whether I get one that mounts to the existing rail on top or is there one that will slide on?

Can someone explain to me if the 25 moa rail will affect closer 20 yrd/m shooting versus the 0 moa rail? The rifle will typically be used at 20, 50 & 100 meter shooting. Sporting a 40 or 44mm objective, higher magnification scope.
