Are Anschutz's imported to my neighbors to my north ?

Here is one that I use as my main squirrel rifle,a 1710 Sporter.

In answer to your question, yes. Now, I,m curious if you ordered that with upgraded wood, or if it was one of those pleasant surprises and you got more than you bargained for?

Hi South:
I bought a new 1710 Sporter in Jan 07...wood is nice as well. I have it for sale now as I can't bear to risk scratching it in the field. It shoots well. In Canada, the "wait" time for a Anschutz is probably at least six months from Europe. It would probably take a year to come through the USA !!!

It is a standard grade and it was "the luck of the draw".I currently own four Anschutz's and the others are as plain as a fence post.:D

Taking that gun into the woods would be like taking the Mona Lisa on a white water rafting trip.

That's funny ,but I don't feel quite that passionate about it.

Bah, it's a gun, meant to be shot. :) What's the point of having something nice if you don't use it, right?

I agree, although I do take it into the woods in a camo gun case and uncase it when I reach my favorite spot.
