anshulz info

They are nice older rifles, usually sold under the Savage or CIL brand... Built using the 64 action, I have yet to see one that didn't shoot.

Spare magazines are easy to find (Brownells 533-400-355)

Don't know what they go for used these days... But you can find a new CZ for +/- $500...

anshulz, is that the brand snoopy shoots?

MODEL 164
- .22 LR cal., 5-shot mag., 23 in. round tapered barrel, Monte Carlo stock, folding leaf sight. Mfg. 1963-81.
$450 @ as new in box $160 @60% (60% of original finish, not 60% functioning:D)

I know it seems strange to judge the value of a gun by it's finish, but that's how they judge wear and use, by the patina/bluing/varnish wear. 60% would be a well used shooter, but not a beater gun.

That's not to say that's what you'd get, it's blue book. Harsher restrictions in Canada on firearms leave fewer gun collectors than in the states where people collect guns like stamps or coins. I've got a '48 targeteer that sells for up to $650 in the states, bought for 50 bucks here, might sell for 100 if I reblue it.
