Anshutz CIL Model 1388 22 LR Single Shot Bolt Rifle

Hello,

My local dealer is selling an 'Anshutz CIL Model 1388 22 LR Single Shot Bolt Rifle'. It's in very good condition to my untrained eyes. I've been searching on the internet the last couple days without much luck finding information on the value of the rifle (in Cdn. dollar), how good is this model compare to other Anshutz, and is this a hunting rifle or a competition target rifle.

Any information to help this newbie out is greatly appreciated. Have a good one.

Need a pic of the action. Does the bolt knob line up with the trigger or front of the guard ??

The pic shows an action that is a step below the 64. There were some entry level target rifles with this particular action. Personally I think it's not a high $ gun. Local dealer here had or has, not sure if it's still there, a CIL/ Anschutz 310. This one is a 64 action sporter repeater, around the $400 mark.

I'm now looking for a CZ 452/453/455 Varmint 22LR at a decent price.

I had a 452 THV and found it too heavy for my liking. Traded it off for a 452 lux, shoots as good without the weight.

The 453 varmint is a beautiful gun. I have 2 of them. Great off the bench, and easy carrying for me...
