Anti-cant - so the rifle stays vertical with each shot. Because the scope is above the bore the shot goes to the side if not vertical. The higher the scope the greater the deviation.

I wish Horus Vision would ship to us. They make a very nice ASI with a level built in. I managed to get one, but it would be nice if they were generally available. Rick, have you ever talked to them about exporting their products north?

Other types of Anticant indicators

Hi Guys,

Here is an alternative "anticant" device that mounts on the rail
rather than the scope. This can be usefull if you have wide
rings and no space for the other type.

Additionally you can mount it left or right so you can take a
peek at it with your non dominant eye which is busy looking
through the scope.

One more advantage in the type of anticant indicator shown by
"toomanyhobbies" and myself............

Since this type of anticant indicator mounts on the scope rail
rather than the scope....

The diameter of the scope tube does not matter.

I have one and it was off center as well. It's a fixable thing, but still good to verify.
