Anyone have a recommendation for some type of anti-fog spray for binos. I usually have my binos hanging inside my jacket but when its real cold i have my jacket done up so the binos hang in the cold air and fog up when i look through them. :( Makes me sad.

Here's a couple of things -

First off - in a pinch if you have nothing a little shaving cream is pretty good. (cream - not gel.) Just clean the lens with it until the lens is clear. It helps.

I use sea-drops. You can get 'em in most pharmacies with an eyewear section, like london drugs or save on foods or whatever. They're pretty good.

Nothing is going to make your lenses 'fog-PROOF'. But these will help. I'd look at a carry system that kept the binocs out of your jacket. There are several.

Here's a trick for carrying out of your jacket if you're using a standard neck- sling. (i assume you're trying to keep weather and dirt off the binocs) - i've used aligator clips and at a small bit of cloth or leather (i like the soft leather - you can pick that up at a lot of places, but a cloth works too) - then you clip the cloth to the straps of your binos a little above the eye peices so it drapes over them. it's super easy to flip it back and leave your bino's exposed so you can use 'em, but when you're walking it protects 'em. Cheap and easy :)

Foe some anti fog action I used to use a product called " Apollo 13 " I believe ,it has been a while . I used to get it from an eyeglass store . It came in a small white bottle and just 1 drop on eash lens and cost and polish and worked like a dream . Hope it helps
