I know there has to be a lot of ammo collectors here. My collecting started around 303 sav ammo and savage brand and has expanded to most cartridges that the savage lever actions were cambered in, along with anything savage brand. So let's see what everyone has, tell us what you know about it to help educate us all.
303 sav miniatures from Winchester, date of manufacture 1899 -1902. I believe the grain is 100 as that was what the savage miniatures were.
Some savage ammo boxes from prior to 1910 (most before 1904)
My personal favourite, the moose horn box from before 1905
A couple of 250-3000 boxes from the late 30's or 40's. The address on the back of the box is Utica NY which was before 1950, although Savage used basically the same box front up until 1964 when they stopped selling savage brand ammo.
