Antique friendly dealers?

[bandit86]

I would like a long barrelled 44 Russian DA, looking through the supporting dealer for an antique revolver and don't see many of them stocking antiques. Ellwood Epps has some, anybody else worth checking?

Antique firearms aren't much different than antique furniture when it comes to retailers. You have to find one who knows about 'em.
There are no distributors for antiques firearms. That's why you don't see many in shops. Plus no retailer wants stuff on the shelf that isn't going to move off said shelf quickly. However, there are a few rather pricey(lot of that is about the quality of the antiques) specialists. You find 'em via a search engine.
A 44 Russian DA isn't a brand name. Decided how much you want to spend, plus whether or not you want a real antique or an copy and whether you want the cartridge or exactly what you want. The do a net search.
Have a look at this one. http://practicalperformance.ca/shop/smith-wesson-44-da-44-russian/

Talk to Dingus, keep checking gun broker. Those are my best suggestions.

Also you can call up Calgary shooting center, they have some nice antique revolvers for sale regularly.

The only S&W 44 Russian DA we have has a 4" barrel on it.
