I have been very happy with my service from AntiqueGunsCanada. The owner of the business, Chris, is definitely trying to provide a quality sales experience for his clientele.
He is very prompt to respond to both emails and phone calls.
He seems to be very honest about his descriptions of the Antiques. When you are interested in one of his Antiques and call him up to discuss it he will definitely be frank about the piece's strengths and weaknesses. He takes the pictures to be as unflattering as possible and he will show you the pieces condition, warts and all. He won't take a little Dremel Wire Wheel to the rough spots and clean them up for charging ( gouging ) the most dollar that he can. He is a businessman in the business of making money off the Antiques we're all craving. He definitely wants a good pile of bucks for his stuff but he won't throw lipstick on a pig and try and pass it off for top dollar.
I purchased one of his "Project Guns" and I was very satisfied with both the price of the piece and the whole customer service experience. I bought one of his honestly described and honestly priced "Project" MAS 1873's. He didn't polish a turd to make the sale, I was the one who polished the turd. I chose to have it rechambered into .455 Mark II and the work was reasonably priced and very good. You never would have guessed this revolver wasn't chambered for .455. During the time I was waiting to receive my new toy, he kept me up to date with when the machine shop could get at it. He was very easy going to deal with. Plus, as a bit of a nicety, the price included the taxes and shipping.
Another customer experience I have had with him was after I put something, that was in very high demand, in his Layaway plan I developed marital problems over the expenditure of very scarce money during a pandemic, after I'd lost my work. I can see her point of view but then there's the little voice in your head that talks you into 145 year old revolvers. Anyways, I had to tell him that I couldn't do it. He was remarkably good about it. He is very easy going; many people who sell firearms are a bit more curmudgeonly.
Anyways, he is trying to have a High-End Antique Firearm sales company. He is definitely trying to locate some of the more obscure or sought after Antiques. A friend of mine who bought a Mauser C96 from AntiqueGunsCanada felt the same about his purchase.
I saw that there was a thread going on AntiqueGunsCanada so, despite posting very rarely, I thought I better throw my two bits in.

X2!!! I've both bought and sold from him. Honest as the day is long and a wonderful gentleman to deal with.
How can you say that when half of the guns listed need work?
I find the listings overall priced properly, some are too high, the ones which need work are described in a confusing way, the guy should know if the trigger return spring does not work, is broken or just not there, not state "possibly needs trigger return spring".
A couple needing work and those with problems he points out is hardly half. It would be hard to tell if said trigger return spring was broken if you did not take it apart. When you call he describes any problem in detail but he does not call himself a gunsmith and explains that he does not disassemble them. I feel he prices those needing work accordingly. After buying several from him over the years I have found him great to work with and honest. For anyone here looking for antiques he is the only place which has any quantity and I reiterate quality.
Another site worth looking at is Old Guns Canada. Oddly enough, he's also named Chris and has a pretty good inventory. I've dealt with him and to be totally honest, be sure you ask the right questions if you wish to buy from him. He has some amazing pieces up for sale. Not cheap mind you, but amazing. From what I've seen, given the new stupidity out of Ottawa, good shootable antiques are climbing in price and being snapped up fairly quickly.
