How does CFC go about figuring out whats antique and whats not?

I've got 3 Savage model 1895's, 2 made in 1896 and one in 1897 by John Marlin. These are registered but I wanna know why they had to be if they're that old.

Doesn't matter when they were made. NO centrefire repeater is an antique. Interesting old rifles, though.

You gotta check out the Calibre too.
The laws were made up so that only guns with obsolete hard to get ammunition can be classified as "antique".

Not true at all.

Respecting centrefire rifles made prior to 1898.
No repeating centrefire rifle is an antique.
Single shot centrefire rifles are modern if under about .33, antique if over. So, a .45-70 is antique, a .32-20 isn't. Makes sense to me.

So therefor, my 1884 Springfield Trapdoor never needed to be registered at all! They did anyway and took my money.

You can get it deleted from the registry. There are a lot of guns registered that don't need to be.

I was unaware of that. Perhaps I can get them to delete the sticker they sent me for a rifle that dosen't exist too.

I was hopeing they would tell me as apparently the CFC are the only ones that could possibly be able to actually see it.
