I also own a couple restored or refinished first generation colts.
this is a 41 colt made in 1906 ,engraved with cattlebrands
the second is from an unkown engraver , made in 1906 caliber .45 ,I fired it on occasion an it's an excellent gun ,
the third one is a 44-40 ,made in 1919 and is engraved by John Adams renowned Colt engraver in the seventies

Holy Cow Stuff Batman

This thread is showing better models than what's on the "New York City" (that's in quotations because that city likes to feel inpotant) fashion strip!!! If there is such a thing as antique iron ####... then I haved seen the light and... my EYES ARE BURNING...THANK YOU!!!!:runaway::runaway:
